American Staffordshire Terrier/Boxer Mix (Midas)

Click to enlarge
Available for adoption from the South Suburban Humane Society in Chicago Heights. www.southsurburbanhumanesociety.org

Midas has a very interesting background. His previous owners seem to have been good to him but taught him no limits! He is a very strong, big, puppyish clown. He loves affection and to lay right next to you and chew on his bone. He also loves walks and walks nicely! He is crate/potty trained and sits nicely. Midas needs a special adopter with some experience and firm patience, however, to teach him some limits. He gets carried away with tug-o-war, particularly with male humans. He can get pretty pushy about his playing! He seems to like other dogs, and loves kids, though I wouldn't reccommend him for small kids until he learns some boundaries and self-control;

Neutered, up to date shots, micro-chip
