Dear future puppy parent,
Miniature Schnauzers are great companion dogs; they love to play with children and to play games like fetch or tug. They are easily trained and do not shed. Because they do not shed they will need some grooming though the Schnauzer cut is not complex (we clip our own dogs). With a Schnauzer your furniture and clothing will remain clean and not shedding makes them more hypoallergenic.
The pups:
Simbad is a male and a big puppy. He has a very thick coat of fur and nice white markings around his mouth. He likes to be picked up and petted and is generally easy going about everything (he seems to adapt to anything new very quickly).

Lilly is a small female. She is a very adventurous pup and likes to chase the birds out of our yard. She gives nice kisses when she is played out and she is careful not to to bite.
The parents:
Mikey (the dad) was salt and pepper but he lightened to silver as an adult with just a bit of black in his moustache. He has been a great dog and he was the reason why we decided to breed (we wanted one of his puppies). Carrie (the mom) is a young and energetic salt and pepper, she loves to play fetch and is extremely athletic (when we play fetch with other dogs they soon become discouraged because she is so quick and agile).
We do not send puppies but rather encourage you to come to Dekalb to visit the puppies first.
If you decide to get one of our puppies, we will provide you with a written guarantee, copies of the liter registration with AKC and the paperwork that you send if you wish to register your dog. The puppy will also have its tail docked, dew claws removed and will be up to date on vaccines. You can also rest assured that your puppy has received the very best of treatment and has been socialized in a caring family setting.
